NO-TILL

Increase of agricultural production efficiency and secure the quality of sawn land is one of the Company’s main goals. NO-Till is one of the most perspective directions of crop production perfection around the world is the development of agricultural zero-technology that applied by Sintal Agricultural.

NO-TILL is a technology that improves soils’ nutrition, stimulates soil biological activity, increases the content of soil organic matter and assists the humus particles’ formation that improve physical, chemical and biological condition of soils. The source of nutrition in this case is eddish that our workers leave on the soil surface after harvesting. This is the “fee” that the farmer has to “pay” for soil resources use. Soil nourishment has to become the every-day process, as it implies constant presence of eddish and plant remains on the soil surface. Eddish gets decomposed on the soil surface and forms humus matter.

NO-TILL is a complicated system. Everything is important here: the seeds’ quality, depth of their sowing, places of start fertilizers’ allocation, time of sowing and treating against pests, cutting height during harvesting. But the results of its implementation won’t keep waiting for too long.

NO-TILL advantages:

• Resources economy (fuel, fertilizers, labour, time, decrease of amortization costs)

• Increase of agricultural profitability

• Saving and renewal of fertile soil layer (improvement of its chemical, physical and biological qualities, increase of organic matter content in soil).

• Reduction and removal of soil erosion (there is no need to spend additional costs on the solving of this problem).

• Ecological weeds’ management in crops

• Increase of soil moisture

• Decrease of crop’s dependency on weather conditions, increase of crops’ yields.

• Improvement of seeds’ quality (ecologically clean product)

• Creation of special culture of interaction with environment

NO-TILL system excludes mechanical influence on the soil. The direct stubbling-in takes place with the minimal disturbance of soil structure. Non-ploughing land cultivation leaves the soil untouched from harvesting till sowing and from sowing till harvesting. The only soil disturbance is the cutting through of the narrow furrow with the circular cutter.

So that NO-TILL technology can be applied, the transitional period, called MINI-TILL has to take place. MINI-TILL supposes, that during several years the land is continued to be cultivated. As a result, fields’ surfaces get levelled, and the layer of eddish remains gets formed. MINI-TILL is considered to be intermediate stage before implementation of NO-TILL.
