| Government considers grain export quotas cancellation |

Agriculture Minister Nykolay Prisyajnuk disclosed that export quotas can be lifted in February before 1Q2011. Earlier grain export quotas have been prolonged till 31 of March, 2011 while total export amount was increased by 1.5mn tones – to 4.2mn tones. Corn export quota was increased by 1mn tones up to 3mn tones, while wheat export quota was increased to 1mn tones. Source: Interfax |
