Sintal Agriculture(SNPS GR) is pleased to present results of sowing campaign. Company took strategic decision and shifted its crop rotation plan in favor of more profitable crops like sunflower, soy, rapeseed and corn.

As of May, 20 Sintal completed 100% of its sowing campaign. Sintal planted 20 520ha of sunflower, 9 427ha of soy, 7 580ha of corn, 955ha of sugar beet etc. Sowing campaign was completed in optimal terms and high yields are expected due to highly favorable weather conditions in spring and early summer. 93% of winter crops (wheat, barley and rapeseed) are in perfect shape.Mild temperatures and sufficient snow coverage in winter laid a decent foundation for high yields of

This year Sintal also expects favorable crop prices on the back of continued heat in Europe which has already destroyed big part of European crops. France, which is the biggest exporter of grain in Europe, suffered from the heat the most. Consequences would bring upward pressure on the market prices.



Vadim Mogila, CEO: We are very optimistic about strategic decision that will allow us to increase production and crop margins. In 2011 we plan to increase harvested area up to 105ths ha on the back of new farm acquisitions in summer.
